I can't believe I haven't posted anything about Christmas!!!

I'm such a slacker.  For the record, I'm not posting anything about Christmas tonight either!

So, just to share a couple of Atticus funnies....

As I was brushing his teeth one morning:
Atticus: Mommy, you're beautiful.
Me: Thanks Atticus!!!! (Heart melting instantly in my chest)
Atticus: You look like Shrek.
In his defense, I was wearing green scrubs, and he does love Shrek.  So I'm sure, in his 3 year old mind, that it was a HUGE compliment!

Today as we got in the car after daycare:
Atticus: I like to eat snow Mommy!!
Me: It is pretty yummy Atticus!
Mom gets into car.... Looks back at Atticus....beaming with pride at the amazing little boy in the backseat who is now trying to LICK the snow off his shoes.
That's my boy!!!

Although the same crazy kid, can also melt my heart 1000x over.  I told him his daddy was sick tonight and had a sore tummy.  But he wanted to say hi to him when we got home.  He crawled up on the bed next to daddy and started to rub his hands on daddys arms and legs... "I'll rub your back for you Dad!"
Then a short while later after we took his dad to immediate care... Ron was lying on an exam table, feeling horrible.  Atticus walked over to him and again rubbed his arms and leaned in close to his dad to tell him "Daddy, you don't feel good?" "No, I don't Atticus." "Don't worry, I'll take care of you!"  Then as he walked around the table to go rub his dads back, he stopped at Dads feet and had to give his dad a kiss and an I love you.  <3
